Economic Principles

In 40 years we need a more self-sufficient New Zealand, we need to identify required industries which have been lost overseas and train people to do these jobs again.
I believe it is possible to be part of a global community and at the same time self sufficient.

We should support a minimum standard of living to ensure everyone is safe happy and well, but should move towards straight financial support and non-cash or indirect payments.
The books must balance, so we should not be afraid to pay taxes if we are getting value in return.
