It is a governments’ job is to keep all its citizens SAFE, HAPPY, WELL The following are the personal views of North Dunedin 2017 electorate candidate. Adrian Graamans #VOTECLEVER #MP2B #SDHBELECTIONS2019
I AM DOING THIS BECAUSE
HEALTH PRINCIPLES “Health services influences on where people choose to live, Dunedin will grow simply by having a world class health service.”
REBUILD OF DUNEDIN HOSPITAL - LETS DO THIS, RIGHT!
Who will pay for it? … I see the best option as a Private/Public funding mix between ACC, NZ Superannuation fund & the SDHB. Any profits will then be retained for the greater good of the country.
I want all parties to confirm that the election of a Southern DHB will happen in 2019. The community is entitled to it representation and an elected board will improve transparency and start rebuilding trust.
Stage one of the hospital rebuild will focus on producing a very large number of ward space and self-care community style care facilities specifically to provide all levels of support to reduce fragmentation.
ECONOMIC PRINCIPLES “In 40 years we need a more self sufficient New Zealand, we need to identify required industries which have been lost overseas and train people to do these jobs again, I believe it is possible to be part of a global community and be self sufficient.”
ENVIRONMENTAL PRINCIPLES “It is crazy if “our” money is sent overseas as a consequence of a global environmental arrangement, it should be spent directly on correcting our environment and helping the worst environmental offenders here”
EDUCATIONAL PRINCIPLE “Free education for all people 20 years of age and under. We need children knowing early on that they have this educational opportunity and even if have some earlier setbacks they can re-enter the education system”
GOVERNMENT PRINCIPLES New Zealand needs independent members of parliament that will support good ideas and oppose bad ones according to the best available evidence not just party lines.
